Frequently asked questions
What can I upload?
WAV, FLAC, MP3, AIFF, OGG, M4A. For stems, FLAC is ideal (smaller uploads, lossless). Songs up to about 6 minutes work best during beta.
What's a reference track?
A professionally made song or episode whose sound you want — FixyMixy listens to its space, brightness, bass and punch, and steers your result toward it. Choose how closely to follow it: Inspired, Close, or Twin.
Do you keep my files?
No. Uploads and results are automatically deleted within 24 hours. Your original files are never modified — all processing happens on copies.
Why do I need a beta code?
FixyMixy is in free beta with limited capacity. Codes are shared on our social channels so the studio doesn't overflow.
My result sounds different from my reference — why?
FixyMixy follows your reference's character but keeps things human: if a reference is fatiguing or over-crushed, the engine delivers the professional version of that sound. Use "Twin" match for the closest possible result.
How do I ask for changes?
Just keep talking: "less reverb", "voice louder", "warmer", "brighter" — the engineer re-renders your session with each request.
